Now we're going to go over E flat minor, altering some voicings. And we do this the same way. Say we have an E flat and it says 5, or sharp 5. So what we do is we take one, three, five and just sharp it. A really cool thing is five, sharp five, thirteen, sharp five and you get that... Or say you have an E flat minor and it says flat nine. So here's our nine, now just take it down a notch. So it sounds a little out there but it's still a hip chord. Or we want to do E flat major sharp eleven. Here's eleven, sharp it. That's a pretty chord, right? And the great thing about this is when you alter the chord you get a different scale too. So you can go through and get some different sounds and some different scales under your fingers and this way when you see E flat sharp eleven flat nine in a real book you'll know what to do and you can make the appropriate adjustments.
