Escape from a Two-Handed Fist Grab

This is going to be a demonstration against a two-handed wrist grab. The grabbed wrist… we’re going to make a fist with the wrist that is being grabbed. Grasp your own fist and then use a leverage of the entire body to push this out. Then we return with the double palm thrust, knocking the opponent backward. We’ll demonstrate that. Grasp that fist and you’re going to twist around creating leverage. That presses down and double push back, correct. We’ll go ahead and repeat that one. Good. We’re going to do a single wrist grab. Single hand grab each wrist. That’s where I’m going to twist this way, press down, and then double push. Go ahead and grab me once first for that. I want to go against the thumb, the weakest part of a grab, pressing down and then double push in this direction. Weakest part of the grip is going to be the thumb, so we’re going to twist up against the thumb. Jerk the hands down, and push the aggressor backward, correct. We’ll also go against the circling method against an arm grab. I’ll you have grab this one. Go a head and grab tight on the upper arm, both of them, grasping like you are going to pull me along. This has the same principal movement. I’m going to tense the arm by grasping the fist tight. I’m going to take my fist like this and twist over and then coming back with the strike. Either with palm or elbow, depending upon the distance of the attacker. Correct.
