Hi! This is Matt on behalf of Expert Village and today I am going to show you how to make my homemade onion rings and homemade dipping sauce. Okay great now we have our onion rings you know, actually the raw onion rings. Also I went to the waste plate because I don't like to waste and I got all the actual usable rings that I actually broke. Originally I threw in the waste plate but I'm not going to waste them because you can use them for other dishes and food costs money so we are going to keep those and they will definitely come in handy for other dishes. So we put this aside here. Okay so now we are going to work on our rings. So what we are going to do here is, let's move the batter over here and get the whisker out. So we are going to take each ring carefully. We don't want them to break remember and we are going to dip them in the batter and cover them; make sure they are fully covered and then we are going to coat them on each side in the flour mixture and set them aside. So let's take one and we are going to, look at that, there you go and we are going to dump it in the flour mixture and coat it on both sides. We are going to submerge it like so. Then we are going to take it and lay it right there on the plate. Your fingers are going to get filthy but hey what are you going to do. So we are going take the ring, submerge it and then we are going to cover it up and like you know in a sand box just like so and then we are going to set it off to the side. Let's do a few more here; submerge your ring like so. It kind of looks disgusting but it is going to be awesome. Take it and put it in our flour mixture, paprika. Make sure it has a nice coating on both sides like so and we are going to dump it right there. Let's do one last one, a nice big one here. Dump it in the batter so it is coated. There you go. Put it in our flour mixture and make sure it is evenly coated on both sides and we are going to dump it over there. So I am going to finish these up and when I finish them what I am going to do is take them and put them in the refrigerator for about 15 to 20 minutes just so the batter kind of gets stuck to the rings. So let's do that and we will see you on the next step.
