Hmm this misses a few factors. Lets say your car is manual? you come to a red light flick to neutral, so your screwed that way. Also lets say you try and grab the writ and slip due to panic, the chances are his finger will be on the trigger with a slight movement either if you grab or not its a high chance your shot. Let me point out, i would rather give the car and not die.

but what when the attacker shoots? then your dash is gone man! and mabye the bullet is that strong that it can reach the motor

This is actually a very good tactic. The only drawback is, as he already stated in the video, it can only work if no other cars are in front of you. Actually, a second drawback is that it will only work if your window is already down. Bullets can go through glass, however, you can't grab a gun through a raised window.

Actually this is a good technique that can save your life. It's not like locked doors and rolled up windows magically make the carjackers go away.
