Tips for Cleaning Up Kitchen Messes with Kids

Hi. I am Katalin. The creator of Creative English in Hungary. Now we are here on behalf of Expert Village. We are going to make a fruit and vegetable juice. After preparing all the ingredients you should ask your children to clean up table because this is also part of the education, the cooking education How they can clean up after themselves. So Barbara could you please throw the rubbish away. Of course. There. Okay, thank you. Brilliant. So also we should put the knives away so maybe Barbara can put the knives away because they are sharp. How do you out the knives away? Oh, yes. You always need to hold the knives downwards. To avoid to hurt you. Kurty, could you please put the boards away. Let's put them into the sink. Let's hold the boards straight away to avoid the pieces falling off. Okay. Oh, and don't forget about the peeler. Okay and put it this way. Or you can actually hold this downwards. Very good. Well done. Before making the juice you should clean the table. Okay. Usually a napkin will do or if it's too sticky or too messy you should use some kitchen sponge. Okay. Thank you Barbara. And last but not least we should wash our sticky hands.
