Helping Kids Peel Fruit for Fresh Juice

Hi. I am Katalin, the creator of Creative English in Hungary. Now we are here on behalf of Expert Village. We are going to make a fruit and vegetable juice. When the children need to cut the fruits or vegetables or maybe it meats or bread or whatever you are cooking with then make sure after using the knives they will put it away in a safe place. First of all, you will need to wash the apples and the carrots. Ilene, could you please wash them? Thank you. Thank you. Alright, so who would like to take the apples? I'll do them. Okay. Thank you. Who would care about the carrots? Uh huh, it'll be me. Alright. So, I am afraid I will have no choice to peel the oranges. Okay. Alright. So, oh very good. You will need a napkin to put down on the table. Do you know how to use a peeler? Yeah. Of course. Okay, now let's show us how to do it. Okay. You seem to be an expert. When you use the peeler it's very important to teach your child not to peel it right by his fingers. But a bit underneath the finger and then later on he can turn the, he can turn the carrot over and then peel the other side.
