How to Play an F Dim to a Bb Altered Piano Chord

Now we have F half diminished to B flat altered, which going into E minor. Again, we get F half diminished out of G flat major, right, the major chord right above it. It looks like this. There's your G flat, right. If this is G flat major, just slide it down a notch in the scale, and you've got F half diminished. And then B flat altered, if we go one, three, and flat seven. One, flat three and flat seven, we get our basic outline there. But to get the full scale, we go half step, whole step, half step, whole, whole, whole, and that's your pattern. You could hit any notes out of there. So, you've got E half diminished, or no, we have, sorry, F half diminished to B flat altered, which leads to the E flat minor, A flat seven. So again, that's your minor two-five leading into E flat minor.
