So our first chord we're going to go over, is our E half diminished and our A altered, which is our minor two-five out of C major, it's going into D minor, alright: E, A, D, G, C. And our E half diminished looks like this: E, G, B flat and D. And how we get that is if we F major and go down a notch, here's your half diminished. It's the seventh degree of your major scale. And then to get our A altered, what we do is we play one, three, flat three and three together with our seven. And it's crunched. And how we get that scale is it's a half step, a whole step and then a half step and then whole, whole, whole. And there's the same formula for every altered scale. We're just coming out B flat harmonic minor. So, we've got E minor, A half diminished, D minor, G seven, E minor, A half diminished, D minor, G. So again, E major out of or E half diminished out of F major, and A altered out of our altered scale pattern, half, whole, half, whole, whole, whole. It can be thought of as a diminished scale going into a whole tone scale. If you've gone through and learned your scales. So that's our minor two-five, E half diminished and A altered going to D minor.
