Playing Measures 9-16 for Reading a Fake Book in A Major

Now we're going to go through measures nine through sixteen, the last eight measures, and we start right here on our bridge, and you know it's the bridge because we have this double barre line which signifies the new section, and we have F sharp minor, our relative minor, and we have that for two measures and then we have B minor, which is our other minor chord. So, we got into the bridge, now we have this minor theme going on. So it helps bring different tones into the piece. It's a great thing for you to utilize if you're going to start writing your own tune, you can use all these basic chords, and you end with the B minor, E seven, and then we have that one-six-two-five turnaround, A major, F sharp minor, B minor, E seven, so nice simple ideas here. So we start off with the F sharp minor, right, B minor, B minor, E seven, one, six, two, five, and it brings us right at the top of the tune. So, some nice simple chords, again make sure you write all these d own at home, as we go through and we're going to play through our first tune, in just a minute.
