My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village. Today, I'm going to show you how to shuck an oyster and how to prepare them a couple of different ways. Okay, so it's been about a minute and a half. And you can see, ow, that first of all, they're very hot and second of all, they're very, very delicious looking. So let's move them up here and go for presentation. Alright, just pull them out of the oven. The thing to bear in mind is they're very, very hot. So you're going to want some of these. So we're going to pick them up with the tongs and then down here on the plate. And the shells stay hot for quite a while so that's something to be very, very aware of. This one's being difficult, very, very difficult. So there we go. And like I said, traditionally, they would be serve on a bed of rock salt. However, we don't have rock salt laying around. But if, so here's the finished product. You'll notice they have a nice browning on the top from the cheese. I put a little more sprinkles of Parmesan on the top. And this just makes a great appetizer. You could also have this as an entree if you want to make, if you just want to eat six or eight by yourself. But it makes an awesome appetizer. It's really easy to do in advance because you can do the mixture up to a day in advance. You can even put the mixture on them cold and just throw them in the broiler, because the broiler heats everything up so fast. So, that is your Oysters Rockefeller. Super, super simple and really, really great dish. So let's move on now to our oyster stew.
