Mizhi, Pt 2: Writing Chinese Calligraphy

A dot and then lower a little bit, and then left slant and because it's the next stroke is a curve and then a hook. So I will start off a little bit from the center line and then go a little bit beyond the center line and back. And remember where I start that a little bit off the center line to the left; I will start the hook there as well. So it kind of holds the weight in the middle and balance the whole character, that's a very important action to take. And then touching this curve we have the outer lines that basically follow the direction of this diagonal. And then I show the one also follow that direction and then you can kind of guess how the knot of the rice land will go, following that and then to achieve a little bit more balance because there are more strokes on the left I will kind of go a little bit more to the right to balance the whole character, So people find these grids very useful and some would like the Huizhi grid and some will like this Mizhi grid a lot of, there's several choices for you to make and later we'll choose the Jia Gu Wen.
