Hi! My name is Gretchen Brown. I have been teaching conformation training and handling professionally for 20 some odd years. I am coming today on behalf of expertvillage.com to teach you how to train and show your show dog. Dog show is a competition of purebred dogs usually sponsored by the American Kennel Club to determine how well an individual dog compares to its breed standard. It is judged by licensed judges and the AKC requires 15 points for a dog to achieve its championship. The number of points are determined by how many dogs are entered in a given show on that given day. I hope I have been of some help to you this afternoon. You can contact me through the website commanddogtraining.com. We run classes every Wednesday night and we are based out at Fort Lauderdale. Thank you.
