How to Play a Bass Drum on Beats 1 & 3

Here's the bass drum on one and three using the sixteenth note back beat. So, the bass drum is going to hit on the down beat and it's also going to hit with the snare on three. Notice the bass drum and the right hand line up together on the first and third stroke of the right hand. One, two, three. One, two, three.
