Learn Advanced Tracking for a Schutzhund without a Trainer

My name is Phil Hoelcher and I am representing Expert Village.com this morning and we are going to be talking a little bit about the sport of schutzhund. We are going to try to show you a little bit about all three phases; the tracking, obedience and protection and give you an idea today a little bit of what the sport is all about. Sit, good girl, look, look, sit… little food in the start to make sure that she goes…. I ask her to look before she goes, come here. I am letting her today go on her own to see whether or not she will get everything on her own and I am not having any influence with the tracking line on. She has to make all her own decisions, right or wrong and if it is wrong, then I will correct it, that should be our article. It should be right in between her feet and that’s where it is. So I tell her good dog, she can have a little piece of food for finding it, good dog, now she has to wait, I pick up the article and show it, she can’t get up, now I am going to put a little piece of food down, but she can’t touch that either because I haven’t told her she can start tracking it… Look. That is very nice. If you would like to talk further about schutzhund or like to know anything else, you can e-mail me at philhoelcher@aol.com.
