Should You Buy a New or Used Car

ERIK RINCON: Hi, this is Erik for ExpertVillage.com. Today, we will be talking about how to buy vehicles here at Inland Empire Auto Center. On average a person should buy a used vehicle every two to five years. Two years because your basic warranty is for about two years, or 24,000 miles when we buy and extend your warranty. After that time most of the out-of-pocket expenses will come out of your pocket naturally. So if you like every two years 24,000 miles there's a basic warranty on a typically used vehicle you can trade out of that. The difference when you buy a new vehicle to used vehicle is that you can actually get a bargain on a used vehicle. You don't have to worry about paying the high price for a brand new vehicle. Once you wanted a vehicle's that's pretty much if you bought brand new the depreciation value is right off the bat and goes down. So you've lose thousand of dollars for that new fresh air smell. So with used car you can still get a nice good bargain deal when you find that it's economical, good on gas tab, good on gas and they're going to be sufficient for your budget as far as payment. I myself would like to purchase a new vehicle just because of that new fresh smell but a used car pretty much you can get a good bargain on it if it's got low mileage 10-15-20,000 miles no more than 40-50,000 miles for an average Japanese motors.
