Trunks & Safety Switches on Used Cars

ERIK RINCON: Hi, this is Erik for ExpertVillage.com. Today, we will be talking about how to buy vehicles here at Inland Empire Auto Center. Now here is the trunk. Every vehicle has a trunk it's very important that you actually see what kind of space you have inside. This vehicle has enough cargo space where you carry quite a few boxes or more stuff in it. Every vehicle has a spare tire underneath which you need to look for. Every vehicle--you pretty much buy whether it's used or new should have a spare tire and a spare jack in here, this is not supposed to be removed from vehicle. Most vehicles have a secret glove compartment set on this side. The secret glove compartment in there will pretty much show you that the jack is in there and then once it's done for storage, you can place it right back where it's at and just lock it up. Every trunk nowadays has a secret release switch from the inside as you can see underneath here to open from the trunk. This is to prevent from anybody kind of kidnapping--the release switch is what's going to actually prevent you from actually opening it and to getting outside.
