How to Fit Pipe for Performance Mufflers

Hi I'm Doug. I work with twenty great guys in St. Louis at Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods, and we're going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. So similar to the other side of the car where Dave did the pipe on the right hand side, this side he's trying to bring the pipe to the center of the car at the same time that he's bringing it up from having passed below the cross-member. So this is a great example of how years and years of experience will help out, but there's not much chance of getting that pipe in there close enough to get a really good idea of how it's fitting. So he's going to hold it out close to where it's going to go and just guess. There's a lot invested in labor and getting a pipe bent, so he wants to get it right the first time. I think he's going to do it in two pieces.
