How to Weld Hangers to Performance Mufflers

Hi I'm Doug. I work with twenty great guys in St. Louis at Doug Jenkins Custom Hot Rods, and we're going to do some work for you today on Expert Village. Brackets all bolted in place exactly where he wants it, now he's welding it to the side of the muffler. This is a structural weld here so it's going to have real good penetration, he's going to make the bead as long he can where the straight exhaust hanger intersects the round muffler pipe. Now Dave will take his little cut-off wheel and cut the scrap off of that, trying to cut it clean and straight so we get as good looking system as possible.
