Hi! I’m Monica and the next tendon gliding exercise I am going to show you for carpal tunnel is a progression of the first two I had showed you. The first one, again, was the hook fist. The second one was the straight fist. The fingers touching the palm and fingers staying straight. The third one is going to be the tabletop position. You want to make sure that you are keeping both of your knuckles straight and you are just bending right along here, up and down. Again, your wrist is probably going to be bent back just a little bit, nice neutral position so just nice motion. It’s not a strengthening exercise. You don’t have to try to squeeze anything when you are down there at the bottom. You’re just simply doing it that motion. Trying to imagine those tendons as they are moving through the carpal tunnel gliding back and forth. Again, just nice and relaxed up and down.
