Cooling Sugar Cookies

My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village today I'm going to show you how to make sugar cookies. So it has been eight minutes, I checked back in on them at six minutes and they weren't quite ready yet. I take them out of the oven, very, very hot, you can see that my stars kind of turned into blobs. Next time I want to make sure they are a little bit thicker and my drop cookies came out looking perfect though. So we are going to let these cool for a little bit. The only time you want to let them cool is when you want to sprinkle some cinnamon sugar on top of them which I'm going to do on the drop cookies. So we'll just take, if you wait until these cookies are cold they won't stick as nearly as well. Now I just made snicker doodles. I'll go ahead and put them on all the cookies, excellent. So I'm going to let these cool for about ten minutes at least and if possible get them off the pan when you let them cool. I'm going to place them on a plate unless you want your cookies mushy, if you like them mushy then eat them sooner than later. So we'll let these cool for about ten minutes and come back to see how they came out.
