Forearm Extender Stretching Relieving Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Pain

Hi! I’m Monica and the next stretch we are going to do for carpal tunnel syndrome is going to get your forearm extenders, or the muscles that are on the back of your forearm. So these muscles are going to start up at the elbow. They go all the way down through the wrist here and some will come down to the fingers here. So best way to get those will be flexing of the wrist and bending of the fingers. You should feel a stretch all right down into here. Again, if you have your elbow straight it’s going to feel like more of a stretch. You can also pull on it just a little bit with your other hand, pulling your wrist more. You want to hold it between 30 and 60 seconds. Again, it is nice comfortable stretch. If that’s too painful for you, then you can bring your wrist up a little bit so it is not bent quite as much. You can straighten out your fingers a little bit too, wherever you need it to be. Thirty to 60 seconds all right down into here and all right down in through there.
