Hi my name is Jess Graham here in Tampa, Florida on behalf of Expert Village this is how to replace and maintain your air filter in a motorcycle. In this step we will be removing the gas tank. Some may not need to remove the whole gas tank but prop it up so you can get to the air filter. We have two, three bolts around the bike. One in the front. Two on the sides. All you need is your Allen key. Start on the sides. Now the bolts on the sides have a mental Bushing in there. You want to make sure you do not lose the bushing or else the gas tank will wobble around once you put everything together. You want to leave the back brace in place so that you can pivot your gas tank on that. And make sure there are no wires available to get crushed. But once I have this last bolt off, all I have to do is pull up on the gas tank to get into the air filter box. Just like the other side I want to secure my metal bushing and now I just need to find something to prop the gas tank up so I can work on the air filter box.
