Tools for Replacing Motorcycle Air Filters

Hi my name is Jess Graham here in Tampa, Florida on behalf of Expert Village. This is how to replace and maintain your air filter on a motorcycle. When replacing or cleaning an air filter on a motorcycle, a handy thing to have is a magnetic tray to hold all your bolts. You will need a four or five millimeter Allen key, a screwdriver, a Phillip's head screwdriver. Number two, a rag is a handy thing to have as well as a set of needle nose pliers when removing the fuel lines from your gas tank. A few other key things to have would be, a new air filter if you have a paper filter in your bike already, maybe an after market reusable air filter, as well as some air filter cleaner and air filter oil. Before installing your new air filter you want to make sure your air filter is pre-oiled.
