Just make sure the saddle will sit level on the back of the horse. You also want to make sure that you are hooking up your girth and tightening it properly before you get on. This will just lead for a much safer ride because you definitely would not want to end up underneath your horse. And lastly, you always want to check your stirrups and adjust your stirrups properly by measuring them at arms length. So by using these tips and techniques, you can ensure that your horse is saddled properly and you are going to have a nice safe ride.
