Sivananda Yoga Low Lunge to Mountain Pose: Sivananda Yoga

This is going to be the final breakdown for the Sun Salutation Sivananda style. I've got Lauren here in a nice low lunge. Notice how her fingertips are on the ground. Her heart is shining through, shoulders are released away from the ears. Also, notice that her knee is not only released to the floor but also the top of the foot. Now, we're going to have her coming into a forward fold. So, tucking your back toes stepping forward right between the hands release into that beautiful forward fold. Lovely. When you're in forward fold, you're getting a wonderful hamstring stretch. And, also a lower back stretch. Also, notice she is folding from hips. Her back is nice and relaxed. Her head is just hanging down gently and not holding any tension in the neck. Now, coming all the way up to standing. Inhaling all the way up, arms forward. I'm going to have you come right down back down again. Come on down. Now, taking the arms inhaling them all the way forward all the way back to a nice back bend. And, as you exhale come to a nice straight spine and drop the arms down to the sides palms facing forward.
