Sivananda Yoga Low Lunge to Cobra

The third breakdown to the Sun Salutation Sivananda style, is taking the low lunge all the way into a beautiful Cobra Pose. Which is a lovely back bend. So, Martha and Sue here are in their nice beautiful low lunge on their fingertips in spider mudra. Heart shining through, looking straight forward. Take a nice inhale. As you exhale, shoot that leg back coming into a beautiful Plank Pose. Strong plank, pressing out through the heels kind of pull in through the belly. Beautiful. And, we're going to lower down very very slowly going into Cobra Pose. Take a nice wonderful inhale. Exhale, lower down your knees your chest and kind of slowly caterpillar up into Bhujangasana. Cobra Pose. Now, notice they have a nice. Lower down just a little bit, there you go. Nice beautiful back bend. Shoulders are nicely relaxed away from the ears. Elbows stay bent and hugged into the ribs. I'm going to have you very slowly press up into Cobra, excuse me into Plank Pose. Press up into Plank Pose, tuck your toes. And, we're going to do that one more time. Take a nice inhale. Exhale, lower down. Knees. Chest. And, caterpillar up into Cobra.
