Hi! My name is Monica and I'm going to be taking you through some exercises that you could do for your knees today. Before we do that, just a quick anatomy lesson that I want to go through. Your knees actually are relatively speaking are the more simple joints since all your knee basically does is straighten and bent. There are some little slight like rotation but the main motion is just straightening your leg and bending your leg. The muscles that are responsible for doing that would be your quadriceps group which is on the front of your thigh, they straighten your leg. The hamstring muscles on the back of your leg which will bend your knee and then you also have some muscles your calf muscles on the back your gastro which is also responsible for bending your knee as well. So today we are going to go through some stretches, some straightening exercises, as well as some range of motion exercises that will help you maintain good knee health.
