DIXON GILLETTE: Welcome back to Expert Village, my name is Dixon Gillette. Let's continue our guide on how to play Battlestations: Midway. Alright, now it's time to go over some ideas about using your aerial ordnance. Alright, the first thing that we're going to go over is straight level bombing. You'll generally be using this type of weapon when you're in a medium to heavy aircraft such as a B-17. Essentially, you will be using tactic called "carpet bombing" where you will drop a large amount of ordnance over a given area, and that will help ensure that you hit your target. Now, to do this, you're going to be flying on your bombing run and you're going to hold down the Shift key. When you hold down the Shift key, this will allow your bomb site to come into view. Now, once your bomb site comes into view, you're essentially going to want to put that bomb site and once it gets over your target, push the mouse button once to release your ordnance. As you can see on this particular bombing run, we have dropped all of our bombs on one go, as you can see, resulting into destruction of our target.
