How to Use Tactical Map in Battlestations Midway

DIXON GILLETTE: Welcome back to Expert Village, my name is Dixon Gillette. Let's continue our guide on How to play Battlestations: Midway. Now, there are three zoom levels for your tactical map. Easiest way to do this is to by pushing the zooming key. If you have a three-button mouse and your mouse contains a scroll wheel, you can simply move your scroll wheel over once and you'll notice that your map will zoom in. Now, zoom all the way in and you can get this detailed information that you'll need to wage effective combat. Now, keep in mind, the map will zoom in to wherever your crosshair is currently focused on. When you place your cursor over a unit, that unit's information is going to display here at the top left. This is going to give you information on this unit's assignment, its designation, and its general health. On the far right of that unit indicator is the distance; that's going to tell you your distance as to how far away that target is from you.
