Use Objectives to Remain Organized in Battlestations Midway

DIXON GILLETTE: Welcome back to Expert Village my name is Dixon Gillette. Let's continue our guide on how to play Battlestations: Midway. During most of your time playing Battlestations: Midway, it's going to be important to learn to use your tactical map. You can do this by pushing Tab on your computer keyboard. The tactical map screen is going to give you detailed information about the arena or the theater in which you're currently waging war. It's also going to give you information on friendly units and enemy units that are currently in play. You'll also be able to find airfields, ships, and you'll be able to issue tactical orders from this map. Here, what you're seeing is your current selected unit. You're also going to be able to see your selected unit's target. You're also going to be able to toggle through objectives here. If at any time you seemed to have forgotten what you were doing in the war, push O on your keyboard. This will give a reminder of your objectives and your current mission status. A green number shows that your objective has been completed. A grey number shows that you are currently active in this objective. A red number shows that you have failed that objective. The easiest way to cycle through your objectives is by pushing either D or A on your keyboard. This will allow you to cycle through your objectives and get a better understanding on where you are and what you are supposed to be doing. To exit out of the objective mode, push O on your keyboard and this will hide the objectives window, bringing you back to your tactical map.
