DIXON GILLETTE: Welcome back to Expert Village, my name is Dixon Gillette. Let's continue our guide on how to play Battlestations: Midway. The final weapons that you will have on your ships are depth charges. Now, depth charges are found on destroyer-class ships. They are used for effective antisubmarine warfare. Now, depth charges cannot be aimed; rather, they are simply dropped off the back of the ship. A depth charge will explode when it reaches a predetermined elevation underneath the water, hopefully resulting in a kill. Keep in mind though you have to be almost directly above the submarine to score a depth charge hit. Also, you can see here, as we fire the depth charges, we switched to our underwater camera. This will allow you to watch where the sub is at and watch as your depth charges slowly sink down and hopefully hit that enemy submarine.
