Battlestations Midway Different Uses of Weapons

DIXON GILLETTE: Welcome back to Expert Village, my name is Dixon Gillette. Let's continue our guide on how to play Battlestations: Midway. Alright, so we're going to talk about how to use our ship's weapons. Different ships will be equipped with different types of weapons. Some will be equipped with AA guns and artillery while others will be equipped with torpedoes and depth charges. Depending on the class of ship that you are operating will determine the amount of effectiveness that ship will have in naval combat. Here, I'm going to show you few of the weapons on this Clemson-class destroyer. Okay, so what we're doing here is we're actually going to be doing some target practice. To do this, you're going to move with your mouse, you're going to move the crosshairs over the targets. Once you have the target successfully in your crosshairs, push the first mouse button and you'll see that your guns will fire, destroying the target. Now, keep in mind that if you're ever shooting aircraft, there's going to be some lead time. If you've ever done any skeet shooting, you know that you're going to aim a little bit before the target where it arrives. This way you know that by the time your bullet gets there, your plane and your bullet should arrive at the same place.
