How to Apply Eye Liner for Spring Makeup
I'm Michelle Rene from the Michelle Renee Makeup Artist Group here in Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village I'm gonna show you how to apply makeup for Spring. We've completed Leslie's beautiful vibrant eye color. Now, we're gonna accent the eye with black liner. I've chosen black because I want her eyes to be vibrant in the focal point of her face. Now, there's a couple of different ways that you can apply the liner. Simply with a pencil or with an angled brush with powder. I'm gonna do a combination of the two. Just like we created, we layered long lasting cheek color. I want to create long lasting eye color that doesn't run. I'm first gonna apply the liner. I'm gonna hold the eye taunt and going from the inside eye out in one fully motion. Create a line. "Look up in the sky." Next from the outside rim in. Now normally for daytime looks I would just place the eye liner from the corner to the middle of the eye. But because we're using a bold color I want her eye liner to reflect the bold color. Next with your angled brush dip it a little bit in powder. I'm gonna use a gray powder, that's to not make the black liner too harsh. Notice I'm just lining the outside of her eyes. I'm not going that extra step in lining the rims. I think that would be a little bit too bold for Spring. If anything falls just get your powder brush and simply dust away the powder. And that's liner for Spring.
