How to Apply Concealer for Spring Makeup
I'm Michelle Rene from the Michelle Renee Makeup Artist Group here in Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village I'm gonna show you how to apply makeup for Spring. Our fifth step for makeup to Spring is our concealer. I like to put the foundation on first and then apply the concealer. Be very careful when applying the concealer. Make sure you go from the outside in. You can apply it either with your finger tips, a brush, or a sponge. If you are applying with your fingertips make sure you use your ring finger this is your weakest finger. If you are applying with a sponge I like to apply it with the edge because it gets close to the eye. Today I'll go ahead and apply it with a foundation brush. We're going from the corner to corner of the eye. The concealer should be a few shades lighter than your foundation. Remember to pat and not pull. Once you've got the foundation underneath the eye, you could put the extra concealer on the lid. This is gonna help your, the lid look brighter and it also helps the shadow stay on longer. We've got the concealer underneath and on the lid. Lastly, I'm just gonna take my extra concealer put it in the corner and a little bit on the forehead just to brighten up her face. If you see any blemishes, you can apply the concealer on top of the foundation. This is one reason I like to do the foundation first and then concealer. You can tell a big difference, you can tell a big difference in Leslie's eyes. The left side looks fresh and bright. And that's our concealer.
