Shock cord mount assembly is the next topic area. Shock cords are used to keep the nose cone and the body tube connected together after the engine injecting charge shoots. So, you do not lose the nose cone, and you will tie a parachute to it so you do not lose the entire rocket. Shock cords are elastic pieces of rubber, basically, or nylon that you use to attach to the nose cone and the, and the body tube. The shock cord is about three feet long and, two or three feet long, and this one happens to be made of rubber. Shock cord mounts, in the instruction kit, come in, are, are, are printed on the instruction kit. You use scissors to cut out the shock cord mount, which is a very simple process of just simply cutting out the paper. Like this. You do not have to be that accurate on this stuff. Once you cut the shock cord out, it has numbers on it. In this case numbers one, two, and three. What you do is, you need to glue the shock cord to the shock cord mount. Lay the shock cord mount out like I have. Add some glue to the shock cord mount. A drop will do you. Take your shock cord. Put it in the glue area of the shock cord mount, and crease over, get a hold of it. And, fold the first flap over on number two. Number one folds on number two. Which will then look like this for the shock cord. You then will add glue to the other side and fold number three over. Basically, what you are after is something that looks like, that looks like, that. Now you have a shock cord and your shock cord mount attached.
