Mounting the Engine Assembly for a Model Rocket

So far, for engine mount assembly, we've verified that we have the correct pieces. So that step's done. I have to do this upside down but, that step's done. Next what we're going to do is we have a ruler and in these instructions, like I said before, they provided us with a measurement so that we can get the correct distances they ask for that we'll be doing in a second. So that step's done. What we're going to do is like it says on the instructions we're going to lay out the engine tube and we're going to mark it and the instructions says to, and this varies model rocket to model rocket. This will vary. But it says to measure and mount the rocket at various distances on the engine mount tube. Again, that is for stability and also for safety so that when the rocket launches it will be stable in the air. Now, also, it's a marking in the instructions for the engine mount tube which has right angle designed into it that will actually pierce the tube to allow the engine to set in the tube and also so that the ejection and the parachute can fire to allow this model rocket to safely return down to the ground.
