Hi! This is Jeff Pence here with Bob Street today from Houdini Home Improvement, Lebanon, Ohio on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip, we will be attaching a stopper valve assembly to the sink. We are going to start by placing the flange into the plumber's putty and applying pressure to it to get out any excess and we are going to allow it to seat so that we don't have any leaks. Now Bob is screwing in the stopper valve assembly into the flange. How tight you want to make that? Screw it in and let it seat into the cap that we put in from the top with the plumber's putty and once the stem has seated, you tighten this nut and rubber washer, snug it up until you swell the washer up. You don't want to snug it so tight that you deform the washer. Might need a wrench on some of applications. Make sure that you line up your stopper valve and drain to the back. You want to be sure to remove any excess plumber's putty from around your top flange. Make it nice and clean.
