Hi! My name is Monica and this next exercise I’m going to show you, for your ankles, is a progression from the ankle exercises, the pumps that you were doing with your leg propped up. This time we’re going to have you seated in a chair. Just a simple motion, you can do these anytime you want to at home, at work. All it is, is just up on your toes, back down ,and then raising your toes up. It’s just this simple motion. Little bit of range of motion, little bit of strengthening as well. You just keep going up and down. You can do these for about 30 seconds, up to a minute or two, just depending on how long you can tolerate going for. If it’s too hard to get all the way up like I am doing here, you can just kind of go half up and then work your way all the way up. Same thing if you can’t pull your toes all the way up. Go as far as you can and slowly you can start pulling yourself all the way up. Again, up and down motion here.
