Hi! My name is Monica and this last balance exercise I’m going to show you is another progression, another type of dynamic balance. Go ahead and get on the one leg again. You can hold onto the wall if you need to. Get yourself nice and comfortable. Last time we did some squatting, well what we’re going to do now is actually kind of try and squat and touch the ground. So bend down, touch the ground, come back up. If you need to put your other leg down, hold onto the wall while you are doing it, that’s fine. So come down, back up. Another advanced version of that is instead of reaching out in front of you, come down, try to reach out to the side, come back up. Other side, down, try and pick up something and come up. If reaching all the way down is hard for you, you can have a tabletop in front you. You can reach down and come back up. Again, the other side, reach down, come on over.
