How to Play "No One Knows" by Queens of the Stone Age

Hey this is Joe Wiles with the Rock and Roll Conservatory on behalf of Expert Village. Let's take a look at Queens of the Stone Age's "No One Knows". It's a C minor chord using an A minor chord form barred on the third fret. Let's take a look. Here we're going to put our index finger on the third fret of the A string. We're going to put our ring finger on the fifth fret of the D string. We're going to kind of skip this G string. We're going to kind of mute it for now. Put our middle finger on the fourth fret of the B string. That's the basis of the riff. We're going to take our pinkie here and move it here. When you hit this C minor chord four times, do a slide. Then we modify that C minor power chord. We're going to leave the G string free for now, take our pinkie and put it on the sixth fret of the B string. Then we're going to hit the fourth fret of the B string, fifth fret of the G string. Kind of like that. This is what it looks like slowly. That was a pretty simple one. It's a one chord song. As long as you know that chord you've got the song pretty set. In the next segment we're going to talk about Motorhead's "Ace of Spades" and I'll see you there.
