How to Play "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath

Hey this is Joe Wiles with the Rock and Roll Conservatory on behalf of Expert Village. Let's take a look at "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath, a really simple song you've got to learn to play if you're going to be a guitar player alright. Let's take a look at the guitar. Now the intro of the song before the chords are played is just a low E string, but what Randy Rhodes does is he pushes down above the nut on the string really hard and he lets it go. He gives it that bending sound. Again, and then the song kind of starts. We're going to start with a two finger power chord on the second and fourth fret. Second fret of the A string, fourth fret of the B. Slide the same power chord form up to the fifth fret and seventh fret. Then up to the ninth, I'm sorry the seventh and ninth fret. Then we're going to come up to the ten, nine, ten, nine, ten. Counting the A string finger of course. Ten, nine, ten, nine, ten, five, seven, seven, nine. Played slowly it sounds like this. Let me do that again. That's another really easy tune that you've got to learn okay. The next song we're going to do is "Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZ Top. I'll see you in the next segment.
