How to Get Proper Fit for Men's Eyeglasses

Now I’m going to talk to you about finding a pair of glasses that fit your face, fit you well, because a pair of glasses that don’t fit is just not going to look right, is just going to take away from the style maybe of the perfect pair of glasses that you picked out. You want to make sure of a few things when you are trying on glasses, first; does this frame fit the width of my face? If you notice you don’t want there to be a lot of excess space of lens past your eye, you want your eye to be centered in the lens, you also want to make sure that your nose pads fit comfortably on your, on your nose, you don’t want them to be too tight or too loose, my particular bridge is, I have a very high set bridge so I need to find something that’s going to sit a little bit lower and not ride to the top so you want to make sure these are going to be comfortable. These can be adjustable for the most part, on mine, on my glasses in particular. Generally speaking plastic frames do not have nose pads so when you are picking out a set of plastic frames you’re going to have to be really comfortable with the way they fit. The other thing is that you want to have tension behind the ear so these need to, people have different temperaments but generally speaking you don’t want the break of the temple on the frame to go before your ear or a whole lot after, you want it to sit naturally and when I mean naturally it just kind of curls over the, over the ear you don’t want it to be too far back here or too far up front, it’s just not going to fit you. Those are the three aspects that I look at in a frame. Again, the width here, you don’t want it to be too long or too short, you want your eyes to be centered within the lenses, you don’t want a lot of tension on the sides here, or you don’t want it to be too loose, you don’t want to be able to, generally speaking put a finger between the frame and your temple, you want it to wrap around nicely, some people like it to wrap all the way down, not myself, but just gently kind of across the ear and then the nose pads, you want to that those are adjustable and fit your nose, your bridge.
