In this segment we'll be talking about Them Bones by Alice in Chains. Its a really simple song. Now let's start. Before we start you need to tune your whole guitar down a half step, include your low E string down a whole step and a half. It's a half step down and a whole step drop for your low E string. Across the strings it should sound like this. Most of the song is done on the low three strings, then the first fret, second fret, third fret. The only exception is when the song first starts out, we're on the fifth fret of the G string and the sixth fret of the B string hitting that very quickly. Then we'll start the rift. Slowly it sounds like this. It is palm muted with your right hand. To speed that rift sounds like this. It's another example of a really cool song with a really cool rift thats really simple and easy to understand. In the next video segment we'll be doing Warrants, Cherry Pie. I'll see you there.
