How to Read Music Using Solfege: Sight Singing

Hi, my name is Ashley on behalf of Expert Village and I'm going to talk to you today about sight singing. Solfege the definition of solfege is a system that assigns syllable to the steps of the musical scale useful in singing an ear training. The seven syllable normally used for this practice in English speaking countries are Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Ti Do. Know that you learned the music scale and the key of C you will be able to assign a syllable in each separate note to the scale in order to identify different intervals. Now I'm going to sing the scale with the solfege. (singing)
