Questions & AnswersHi! My name is Joshua Lindsey with CFM Building Science Solution. On behalf of Expert Village, we are going to be doing a blower door test on this home. What we are going to do is an air tightness test on this house. We call it a blower door test. This is literally going to show us how air tight the outside of our home is. In other words, if I am putting air to the inside and I am pressurizing the home, how much of that air is leaking to the outside. I am spending money to cool the house or heat the house whichever the case may be and I don't want to be putting that air that I spent money to heat or cool into the outside, so we are going to do an air tightness test. By the end of the test we are going to show how much in square inches how much this house is leaking to the outside.
