WALLY REULE: Hi. My name is Wally Reule. I'm a personal trainer, owner of SedonaFit, and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. This piece of equipment exercises the shoulders and the latissimus dorsi. The latissimus, known as the lat for short, is this muscle down here that gives us the V-shape and as it is exercised it pulls down like this, the other the shoulders up like this, so with this you're going to have resistance both ways. Be seated. Again, straight up and down, postural alignment, neck straight in a neutral position looking straightforward and I'm pushing up, pulling down, up, down, up, down, up, down, up, down. Again, the next 30 to 60 seconds and the resistance is really created by my pushing and pulling so I'm pushing and pulling now. Again, I'm not squeezing this tightly; [INDISCERNIBLE] it is not necessary, raising blood pressure. Pushing, pulling, push, pull, push, pull. The harder and faster I go the more challenging it becomes.
