Hi! My name is Joshua Lindsey with CFM Building Solutions. On behalf of Expert Village, we are going to do a duct test in this house. Now we are looking for the total loss even the loss to the inside, even the loss where our tape might be leaking or whatever. We are looking for the total loss. If that is too high, that is going to signify to us that we might have forgot to tape off a register or some place or something is open. There have even been times in the past where we've got a piece of duct work up in the attic that has come apart through construction and so our total loss is completely failing because of that. So now if you were to insulate all the way up to your roof deck on your home instead of putting it right down on the drywall, you insulate all the way up to the roof, you run your insulation at the top and your duct work is running inside air conditioned space essentially. Okay so therefore, something could be loose up in the attic in your duct work and as we pressurize the house to 25 pascals, we wouldn't really notice that it is loose unless we run this total loss test; that is where we are going to catch it.
