How to Check Manometer Levels

Hi! My name is Joshua Lindsey with CFM Building Science Solutions. On behalf of Expert Village, we are going to do a duct test on this house. We've set all of our settings on our manometer, on our trusty DG-700 and what we are going to do, this side right here is showing what is coming into the fan. This side right here is going into the fan. Okay and I am going to run it up to the 25 pascals which is where I said we want our pressure to be. Okay so we've got it at 25 and it is pretty much holding there. Our loss in the duct system is 83, 84. It is bouncing around a little bit, so let's call it 83. I am going to switch modes for a second. This mode 178 is showing me what my fan pressure is. Well it dropped down just a touch. Okay at 25 pascals, I've got 196 fan pressure. So we will put that on paper and I will explain what that means.
