How to Play the Bass Notes of the Song "Mary Had a Little Lamb" on the Accordion

Now we are going to talk about playing the bass notes for Mary Had a Little Lamb. Here is something that you want to do. Find that C button, and you recall it’s the button with rhinestone, and you are going to put your forth finger on that button. Then you want to take your middle finger and find the C chord, which as you recall is just below towards the bottom of the accordion. Then you are going to use your index finger on the G to create that oompah sound, and I would practice that for several minutes until your fingers start to get comfortable with that motion. Then you want to also practice that using your fourth finger on the G button, so you move up this direction towards the sky, one button with your fourth finger, G, middle finger on the G chord, index finger ends up on a note called D, which we haven’t learned yet, but it is just one towards the sky from the G. Now you want to practice moving back and forth from C to G. This could take several times of repetition to get it smooth. Once you get that you can then work on the treble side with the bass side to complete our song, Mary Had a Little Lamb.
