On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Patrick from Zoomers Bike and Gear to tell you about advanced cycling. You have different style gloves. You have the winter riding gloves which are nice. They're good, they're thick, and they keep you dry as well as they keep you from the wind. And you also have the summer style gloves, which are great because they're very lightweight, you've got the padding on the other side, on the bottom, to keep your hands comfortable from either going numb or whatnot. Also, another thing is having the socks. Socks are great, whether they're having wool socks for the cold riding or just regular poly socks or normal wick socks to keep you nice and dry, and keep you cool. And then also to go along with that, you have booties. They're nice because it keeps the wind off your feet to add to having wool socks and what not. Because the wind really does hit you and does make your feet cold, because cycling shoes tend to be a lot more breathable than a winter shoe. Also, another accessory to go with clothing is helmet. You should always wear a helmet. It keeps you safe, you just about find every road biker, at least experienced rider; because they have had falls and they have seen people get hurt, wear a helmet. It's just about any race you do; you have to have a helmet on. Any big group ride, you have to have a helmet on, and there are a lot of cyclists that will not let you ride with them because you're not wearing a helmet. So it is something that you should have, it saves lives as well as keeps you safe. And one last thing is sunglasses. Sunglasses are great to have because it keeps the sun out of your eyes, keeps, depending on what type you have, the glare and all that kind of stuff, and just keeps you able to keep your eyes on the road, the person in front of you, and the debris on the road, which is also, as everybody knows, from experienced riding, a very big thing you've got to watch out for.
